The school does not produce a printed prospectus but an electronic brochure about what makes St Michael's different and our approach to your child's primary education can be accessed from our home page
The process of applying for a place at St Michael’s School varies according to whether you require a reception place (for a child starting school in September) or are applying for a place when your child is already attending another school.
As a Church of England school, the governing body determines the admission arrangements and, in the event of over-subscription, decides which applicants are offered a place in accordance with its published criteria.
The admissions criteria for children starting school in September 2020 (School year 2020-21) can be viewed here (follow link).

Applications for a reception place in all Lewisham primary schools are co-ordinated through Lewisham Local Authority and should be made online (to make an online application, follow this link). Online applications may be made from September in the year before your child will start school. All applications must be completed and received by the Lewisham School Admissions Team by 15th January 2021. For those applying under the religious criteria for a place at St Michael’s, a supplementary form will also need to be completed and returned to the school by the same date.
Supplementary forms can be downloaded by clicking on the link below:Click here to download the supplementary admissions form for the school year 2020-21 (e.g. children starting in Reception class September 2020)
To apply for a place at the school in Years 1-6 or Reception 2019-20 entry (i.e. transfer from another school), you will need to submit an on-line application via the Parent Portal which can be accessed from the Lewisham Council's website (click here) together with a supplementary information form if you are making an application under the school's religious criteria. The supplementary form (if applicable) should be returned to the school after completion by your priest or minister.
