A right royal affair!

The nation is getting ready to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, so we had our own Jubilee celebrations. To start the ball rolling, we encouraged the children to come to school on the last day of this half term dressed in red, white and blue or dressed as a king or queen.

One thing was for certain, although the attire was fit for royalty, the learning continued.

Classes took part in the ‘Platinum Jubilee Creative Challenge’ – to design a Jubilee Crown. Each class chose their top three designs and these entries from each class have been submitted to the competition.

Here are some class crowns and a few winning class entries.

To end the day we had an amazing cake sale organised by Mrs Kajubi. A huge thank you must go to everyone who donated cakes, the PTA team and the parents that worked to sort and prep before the doors opened. It was a huge success because of the giving of time and a great team effort, thank you very much!
