This half terms topic has been ‘Winter’ and the children in Reception class have really engaged with the topic and all that the learning has had to offer.

We have been learning the story ‘Snowmen at Night’ and through art and design the children designed their own hats and scarves using a variety of materials. But the creativity didn’t stop there!
They all wrote what their snowman would do at night!

We have been learning about the signs of winter and because we learnt so much about winter, we decided to share our knowledge and became authors and illustrators.
