Extreme weather vehicles

For our topic ‘Extreme Earth’ Year 3 have been studying extreme weather conditions. This week, during ‘No Pens Day’, we learnt about Tornado Intercept Vehicles and how they are used by scientists during a storm to collect information.

We learnt that these vehicles needed to be tough and strong, low to the ground so they can’t be flipped over and have all their monitoring equipment attached.

We worked in groups to create our own Tornado Intercept Vehicles!

What would your Tornado Intercept Vehicle look like?
