Spectacular Science Presentations

This term, year 5 have been learning all about living things and their habitats, paying particular attention to life cycles of mammals, insects, birds, reptiles and amphibians. As well as this, we have been learning about the life and works of two famous British figures: naturalist Sir David Attenborough and primatologist Jane Goodall.

With a focus on research, interpreting and communicating information, and presenting findings, we worked in groups to find out all we can about the two fascinating folk from the natural sciences.

We used trusted internet sources to research the lives and work of David and Jane, before using our hard earned computing skills to create presentations to share our findings.

The class really enjoyed sharing what they had discovered and the challenge of speaking to a room of our peers. We also have a new found admiration for both David Attenborough and Jane Goodall!
