Year 1 have been learning about Everyday Materials. They have learnt to identify, classify and describe the everyday materials around them, such as wood, plastic, metal, glass and fabric, all through a variety of fun activities and experiments.
Year 1 tested a variety of different materials to see what material would be most suitable to make an umbrella.
We also sorted different types of materials and discussed their properties.
