Time to Spread your Wings and Fly!

Wow!

We can’t quite believe we are here already but our lovely Reception have been preparing to spread their now grown wings and fly into Year 1; they are more than ready.

It has been such a wonderful year and after discussing with the children about our time in Reception, it is clear that they have enjoyed their journey and will be moving up with some lovely memories.

Here are some of their favourite memories…

Always having a go…

Going to the beach and paddling our feet in the sea…

Being deep sea divers!…

Making forever friends…

Getting creative and learning new skills…

Making our Art work…

Looking after the ducks…

Having a go at drumming…

And the memories didn’t stop there…

“I remember when…

  • we went on stage for the Nativity
  • I found a spider and checked on it everyday!
  • having ice lollies
  • I started school
  • Jolene read stories to the whole class
  • we danced to Mrs Brailey’s favourite song
  • we made jam sandwiches
  • Oliver gave us vegetables to eat

The children really have shown how amazing they are and they have become the kindest and most supportive friends. This reminds us of the quote from one of our stories “Together We Can”

Our friends are all different,
But one thing is true -
Each one is quite precious,
And that includes YOU!

All over the world
And from since time began
We show every day that
TOGETHER WE CAN!

Well done to each and every one of you and thank you for an incredible year! We wish you all the best on your journey into Year 1 – you are going to be great!

Here’s to our Reception graduates….

Good luck to the new Year 1 class.
