On Friday 16th June, St. Michael’s participated in the wonderful Pyjamarama event held by Book Trust. On Pyjamarama day, children all around the country – in schools, nurseries, and at home – will spend the day reading, enjoying, and sharing stories all in the comfort of their pyjamas to raise vital funds to help every child get a bedtime story. The day was filled with fun, books, reading and even more reading!! Together we raised £148.28
As soon as the children arrived through the gate they donated and were ready for a day of reading and exploring text.
I think they have taken the idea of a bedtime story too far.
