Traditional Tales

This half term the children in Reception have been learning all about Traditional Tales. They have really enjoyed immersing themselves into each of the stories that we have been reading which has ignited their curiosity and creativity. We are so proud of how they have engaged with all their learning and provision.

The children have been exploring a variety of materials, tools and techniques and experimenting with design, by creating and making use of props for their own play and for their learning environment…

Beanstalk Creation…

Harp Designing…

Planting…

The children also had the opportunity to explore their natural world and observe God’s creation from seed to bean plant! They have learnt all about the parts of a flower, how to plant a seed and how to look after it so it will grow.

And just look how much their bean plants have grown!
