As part of our Science topic on Living Things and their Habitats, we took a walk down to Dacres Wood to observe the local plant life and explore the creatures which inhabit the Dacres Wood pond. As well as learning about various plants, Y4 thoroughly enjoyed pond dipping and were full of awe and wonder at the amazing creatures they found. The highlights for the class were finding tadpoles, water boatmen and a large newt!
