This week In Year 1 we had a brilliant time in our History lesson!
The children were able to bring in a favourite toy to show the class. We thought about what it was made of, how we play with it and why we like it so much. The whole class had a fun filled lesson and everyone had a chance to play with the toys and share them with our table partners.
To help us conduct our research about ‘toys of the past’, the children have been asked to interview their parents and older family members. Their task is to find out what the older members of the family used as toys, or how they played, when they were children. So, if you are asked please share your memories with us!
