Hi! We would like to introduce ourselves! You may be slightly confused but you won’t be very soon. First things first, we are the new year two class: The Terrific Twos. We are not to be confused with our predecessors, the Tremendous Twos. They have passed the torch onto us and we are more than happy to continue the class blog without Miss Williams finding out!
So let us introduce ourselves by telling you all about the trip we took on Wednesday the 8th of October to Vauxhall City Farm. Before we tell you about the journey we wanted to let you know that we have been learning about living things and their habitats in Science! So, what better place to see some living things, than at a farm? We all got to school nice and early and that’s where our journey begins.
We walked all the way to Lower Sydenham Station so we could catch a train to Waterloo East and then another train to Vauxhall. As soon as we arrived in Vauxhall, it was just a matter of walking to the farm. We ventured through a park to get to our destination and the first thing we saw before we even entered the farm were some Alpacas (although some of us thought they were camels before Miss Williams told us what they were). Once we finally entered the farm, we saw was a giant cow!
It wasn’t quite the cow we were hoping to see but we were still so fascinated by it!
We really enjoyed looking at Bryony the cow but this is where we had to part ways! Half of our class went to feed the animals and the other half went to hold some animals and learn more about them!

After learning and feeding all of those animals we were exhausted, however we still needed to make it back home, so off we went!
We finally made it back to Lower Sydenham Station, all that was left was to walk back to school. We hope you enjoyed looking at what we got up to during our first school trip of the year and we can’t wait for you to see more from us, the new year twos. The torch has been passed but we are still ready to keep on being tremendous *wink wink*. We will all catch you next time as we can hear Miss Williams talking to Ms Vander and Ms Dennison and she does not know we are using her computer for our blog…so have a good one until then.
