Our Surfing Life Continues

The children were up bright and early and had a chance to play outside. After a breakfast of eggs, cereal and porridge, they made their lunches for the beach. They are making wraps with a choice of chicken, cheese, ham or tuna with salad.

The morning continued with surf theory with Matt from St George’s house. They are learning about the different parts of a surf board (nose, fins, deck and leash).

Next, wetsuits on. They feel uncomfortable right now, but will feel great when they are in the water.

It has been a long day at the beach, learning how to stand up on the board on the sand and then taking the boards into water.

We had lunch on the beach and then more surfing.

We also saw and held a crab!

Most of us were able to stand on our boards today! We are surfing!

Back to have somwething to eat aftyer a very busy day. We are sure they will sleep well tonight.
