This term, Year 1 have been learning about Kings, Queens and Castles as part of our history topic. We took a trip to Eltham Palace as from the 14th to the 16th century, it was an important royal palace, where monarchs often stayed and hunted in the surrounding parks. The children had a great day exploring the grounds and the palace, engaging in a scavenger hunt, locating all the facinating things the palace has to offer!
