Over the past couple of weeks, Year 2 have been attending singing lessons with the Primary Robins program. They learn from a specially-prepared songbook of around 10 songs, one of which is in another language. All songs are traditional rather than pop tunes and the children have had a wonderful time.
We always start by warming up our bodies and voices.
Now it’s time for our music books to learn a new song!
Year 2 have also had the opportunity to have some taster sessions learning to play the ukulele. They have learnt the different parts of the instrument, correct positioning and how to follow a sound pattern.
We even had our very own Maestros!!!
