Good luck to the Year 6 children, who will take their SATS tests next week. The children have been working very hard this year to be fully prepared and ready. Now all we ask of them is to try their best, no more and no less!
The tests are important, but they are only a snap-shot, a measure of a particular skill taken on a particular day. A worthy quote to remember is: “What is measurable may not always count and what counts may not always be measurable.”
Here is the timetable for next week:
Children are invited to come to school at 8.30. We will provide a light breakfast and it will be an opportunity to see their friends and enjoy a calm start to the day. If they go to breakfast club, they will join the other Year 6 at 8.30.
