I stood at the gate this morning and was in awe of the superheroes, Hermione’s and Luigi’s who came to St Michael’s. I saw Rocket from Look Up, Greg Heffley from the Wimpy Kid diaries and many more. We were awash with characters from fiction and real life – Rosa Parks bid me a beautiful good morning as she entered the gates!
The children have had an exciting day celebrating World Book Day. There have been stories in 100 words, anagrams related to books and sharing extracts from their texts to name a few of the activities.
But as if that wasn’t enough for a day filled with fun, it was topped off with a character disco in the hall. Batman, Spiderman and Black Panther showed up with their great moves too!
