A Traditional Christmas

We were so pleased to be able to share our traditional Christmas performance with so many of you on Tuesday. Despite the cold, remnants of snow and icy temperature – you came out to show your support to the children. No matter how much they love to perform – you being there makes all the difference.

The performance schedule was as follows:

  • Infants – A Baby Boy is Born
  • Whole School – Heaven Everywhere (very much a St Michael’s tradition) and Oh Holy Night
  • Reception – The King of Christmas
  • Year 1 – Away in a Manger
  • Year 2 – Joy to the World
  • Year 3 – The Holly and the Ivy
  • Year 4 – O Come All Ye Faithful
  • Year 5 – Hark the Herald Angels Sing
  • Year 6 – Ding Dong Merrily on High
  • Choir – The Zither Carol
  • Guitar – Jingle Bells and In the Bleak Midwinter

I am sure that you will agree the children performed with passion and were an absolute joy to behold.

Our Chair of Governors loved it too! Well done St Michael’s – it really is beginning to look and feel a lot like Christmas after your wonderful performance.

As was beautifully stated, a gift to give to loved ones this Christmas season is kindness.

From our hearts to yours, we wish you all a peaceful and joyous Christmas season filled with kindness and love.
