Year 4 has started off SWIMMINGLY

We are thrilled to share the fantastic success of our Year 4 pupils during their 2 week-long intensive swimming lessons at Forest Hill Pools! Throughout the week, every child made incredible strides, with some even transforming from walking across the pool on day one to confidently swimming in the big pool by the final day.

The children mastered essential breathing techniques and swimming skills, as well as more advanced training in survival and rescue. Their hard work and determination truly paid off, showcasing remarkable progress in just 10 hours.

SWIMMING SKILLS

To celebrate this achievement, we took a joyful break on the last day, coinciding with Show Racism the Red Card Day, by stopping at Mayow Park. The children had a brilliant time on the playground, solidifying their camaraderie and celebrating their newfound confidence in the water. Well done, Year 4! Your efforts have truly shone brightly!
