WE ALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO SPEAK OUT AND STAY SAFE

We want all children to really know and understand that they have the right to speak out and stay safe. Working in conjunction with the NSPCC,  we delivered the Speak out, stay safe workshops to children.  These workshops encourage children to report worries promptly so they can get the right support.

As always, we had the NSPCC mascot, Buddy,  in our classes, reminding us that it is ok to speak about the things that concern us.

Speak out, stay safe

NSPCC Speak out, stay safe

The NSPCC provides trusted guidance on keeping children safe, including how to recognise signs that a child may be struggling and what to do if you are concerned.  If your child tells you something worrying, stay calm, reassure them that they have done the right thing by speaking up, and share the information with the school or the appropriate safeguarding lead. By working together—parents, carers, and school staff—we can create a safe environment where children feel confident to speak out - and know they will be listened to.  Please use this link for further information.
