Reception's Final Stay and Play
Our final Stay and Play session of the year was a wonderfully busy and memorable occasion, ending the term on a real high. It was so special to welcome our parents and carers into the classroom to spend this last session with the children before they move on to Year 1 after the summer holidays. It was a joyful celebration of how much the children have grown, with plenty of smiles, laughter and - for many - a few emotional moments too.
Throughout the year, our children and families have been fantastic partners in bringing our school values to life. Together, they have shown love through kindness and care for one another, peace by working and playing cooperatively, hope by embracing new challenges, joy through their enthusiasm for learning, resilience by persevering when things became tricky, and trust by building strong relationships between home and school.
We would like to thank all of our families for their continued support throughout the year. We are incredibly proud of everything the children have achieved and know they are more than ready for their exciting next adventure in Year 1.
We wish everyone a happy, restful summer and look forward to hearing all about their new experiences in September.
