Nursery News - Spring 1

This winter in Nursery, our learning has been full of warmth, stories, and new beginnings. We enjoyed exploring our key books Jonty Gentoo and Neon Leon, which helped spark discussions about warm and cold habitats, animals, colours, and feelings.

As part of our White Rose Maths learning, we focused on the season of winter and practised finding and recognising the number three through fun, hands-on activities.

We have also been especially proud of how our new starters are settling in—building confidence, making new friends, and becoming part of our Nursery family. The children are developing important independence skills too, such as putting on their own coats and hats, helping them feel ready for outdoor fun.
