In Year Six, children learned about identifying the kingdoms of life, classified living things within these kingdoms and were introduced to the Linnaean System of classification.

The children started off with grouping/classifying liquorice. The temptation to pop one into their mouth was great but they overcame it. This task enabled the children to understand how classification of living things worked.
