Growing and Changing in Nursery
This term in Nursery, our children have been on an incredible journey of discovery, exploring the wonderful theme of 'Growing and Changing' – and what an adventure it's been!
We planted beans and the children nurtured them with such care, watering them and watching eagerly as tiny shoots pushed through the soil and grew taller each day. It's been wonderful to see their faces light up as they've witnessed the wonders of nature first-hand.
We've also been lucky enough to observe some dramatic weather this term, including flash hailstorms! The children were thrilled to watch the hail bouncing on the ground, and we've had some fantastic conversations about weather and seasons.
But it's not just plants that have been growing– our children have too! We've seen friendships blossom as children have learned to play together, share ideas, and support one another. The kindness and cooperation in our Nursery has been heart-warming to see.
Perhaps most importantly, we've been celebrating the value of 'having a go'. Whether it's trying to write their name for the first time, attempting a tricky puzzle, or making a new friend, our Nursery children have shown incredible courage and resilience. We've learned that it's okay to make mistakes – that's how we learn and grow!
It's been a term full of growth, wonder, and new experiences. We're so proud of how much our Nursery children have developed, and we can't wait to see what they'll discover next!
