This year’s theme, ‘This is My Place’, inspired our children to think about what makes us feel that we truly belong.
We began the week with Ms Gillespie introducing the theme during collective worship, where she shared the exciting activities planned. The Daily Mile was relaunched and quickly became a highlight of the day, giving everyone a chance to get moving and enjoy some fresh air together.
CMHW- This Is My Place
Throughout the week, the children also took part in a special daily art activity, creating their own personal maps. These beautiful, thoughtful pieces included places, people, activities, and even feelings that help each child feel safe, happy, and connected.
It was a wonderful week, filled with creativity, reflection, and togetherness. We were delighted to hear such positive feedback, with many children saying how much they loved taking part in the Daily Mile!
