Celebration TimE

Our fantastic Year 6 students celebrated the completion of their SATs with an action-packed, well-deserved day out at the O2! The VIP treatment began at Cineworld, where the children enjoyed an exclusive, private screening of the thrilling new movie The Super Mario Galaxy.

The excitement continued as the group took to the skies for a breathtaking ride on the London Cable Cars, enjoying panoramic views across the city. To wrap up a perfect day, the children enjoyed some well-earned freedom during their break—running around on the grass, laughing, and somersaulting down the hills. It was a day filled with joy, energy, and pure fun.

We are incredibly proud of all the hard work Year 6 put into their assessments. This memorable celebration was the perfect reward for their efforts!

Feedback from the children:

• It was my first time on the cable cars. The more we ascended, the less scared I became.  The view was breathtaking!  I saw cars driving past in the distance, boats sailing and people in the cable cars moving in the opposite direction.

• It was the best day of my life – I wish we could go again.
• It was amazing because I got to roll around in the grass and signal 6-7 to people in the cable cars in the opposite direction.
• The trip was a lot of fun and all the teachers took care of us and made sure we were OK (especially if you were nervous on the cable cars).
• It was an amazing view over the River Thames.
• It was a lot of fun watching the movie with my friends.
