Another Fantastic Day of Adventure at PGL!
What a brilliant day two we have had at PGL Marchants Hill!
We woke the children bright and early this morning, ready for another packed day of activities. With the Giant Swing first on the timetable, we started with a giant breakfast to get us going!
The Giant Swing was a huge hit! The children worked together to pull their friends as high as they wanted to go before letting them swing through the air. There were plenty of screams, laughter and cheering! It was lovely to see everyone encouraging each other, especially those who were feeling a little nervous. Definitely a firm favourite!

Next up was Archery, where the children had the chance to test their aiming skills. There was lots of concentration, determination and some pretty impressive shots! Once again, the children were brilliant at cheering each other on.

After all that hard work, it was time for lunch, and the children were very happy with the choices on offer. We can safely say that nobody is going hungry at PGL!
Then it was straight back into the action with the Zip Wire! What an experience! Those who faced their fears absolutely loved flying through the air, and there were plenty of excited faces at the other end. Some were a little unsure at first, but it was wonderful to see them giving it a go and feeling so proud of themselves afterwards.
We also had a chance to show the lake to a child who had wanted to see it since their arrival.

Our next activity was Survivor, which gave the children another opportunity to work together, solve problems and put their teamwork skills to the test. Lots of fun, lots of laughter and some great examples of children helping one another. When children are able to light a fire brings the greatest joy!

We finished the evening around the campfire, a lovely way to end another busy day together.

The children have been fantastic; throwing themselves into the activities, trying new things, supporting their friends and making new ones at every opportunity. We have been so proud of the way they have approached each challenge, and it has been wonderful to see their confidence growing.
PGL Day 2
There have been lots of smiles, plenty of laughter and, no doubt, some very tired children by the end of the day!
Keep an eye on the blog for more photographs and updates as our PGL adventure continues!
