How lovely was it to walk out to the infant playground and seeing Ben explaining to the infant children how to play chess. Without being asked by an adult, he used his own initiative to teach the children. Chess is such a good pastime – according to research it results in better brain function, improved memory and cognitive abilities, strategic thinking and attention improvement. So thank you to Ben being such an excellent chess master, teaching the children with such patience and clear instructions! When we say to the children – do the right thing when no-one is watching, Ben certainly got it right!
