Look what we have been doing

We have found that children and parents at home have discovered some interesting ways to present their learning. It may be a maths problem, a science question or some history – but we have really been excited with how the results of learning have been shown to us.

Thank you parents for encouraging and engaging the children in these ways and uploading the pictures for us all to share.

Year 1 using chicks to help with maths
No blockage here – we are using blocks to make a number line…
…and then a sum, well done.
Using money as counters to partition using the part- whole method.

This maths challenge in Year 3, became a dress up and investigate challenge for Year 3 and Year 1.

Bead threading from Year 2
Baking Flap Jacks in Year 2
Learning new songs on the keyboard in Year 2.

Look at these phenomenal fractions in Year 4.

Lego fractions – what a great idea!
Let’s get active!

Also our children at school have been enjoying the learning and having some fun. Music and cups, always a winning combination.

Music is definitely a St Michael’s passion.
Can you say it?

May the inventive ways of teaching and learning continue.
