At St Michael’s we learn that in order for us to demonstrate our school rule and value of respect, we need to be the best we can be, even when no-one is watching. Well, someone was watching our Year 5… a member of the public – and this person was so impressed with the children’s behaviour on their way to the theatre, that she wrote a letter to the school, commending them. Year 5, you did us proud!

To whom it may concern,
I had the pleasure of a train journey with the year 5’s this afternoon (approx 2.30pm 5th Dec) who were travelling to see the lion king. I wanted to email you to express how proud you should be of their behaviour! They were obviously very excited but they all listened to the staff & remained calm and controlled throughout the journey.
I had a chat with 3 of the boys (Gabriel, Florrie & Finley) who were so polite, well presented & kind. All 3 are a credit to your school.
I hope the children enjoyed the performance, please do pass down my praise to them all (teachers included)
